A BUSINESS PLAN OVERVIEW OF EVOLET WATER



          Water has been identified to be very important to human existence because it is very necessary for survival. Water ranked second to oxygen. A reliable supply of clean wholesome water is crucial in an attempt to promote healthy living amongst the inhabitants of a well defined geographical region. One of the achievement or realization of the renewed global Commitments toward the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by 2015 required the development of locally sourced alternative low cost drinking water schemes that will provide sustainable access to safe drinking water in both rural and urban areas. Nevertheless this policy falls short in some areas due to some several factors.
           In an attempt to proffer solution to water problem in the nation, I propose to set up a medium scale portable sachet drinking water company in Yenegua Bayelsa State. Most people in Bayelsa state consumes portable sachet drinking water due to the poor condition of the available public drinking water especially the large ion content in the water, this also results to few water companies in the region, causing importation of  bottled and sachet drinking water from neighboring states.
            Evolet drinking water has done a thorough feasibility study and research and has the solution for a highly purified portable drinking water, low production cost and increase in costumer marketability. Evolet drinking water will purify water from our supply (bore hole) through the several combinations of water purification methodologies. The principal steps will remove several contaminants through filtering and reverse osmosis, producing water pure enough for human consumption and for industrial use. Aside from its health benefits, the removal of many of these contaminants will improve the water’s taste, and appearance. Due to the large ion content in the water, Evolet drinking water will use a membrane as a highly effective, extremely fine filter to create purified water, and reverse osmosis process to separate the water’s ions due to the presence of charged particles within the membrane.
  
              The overall purification processes to be employed by Evolet drinking water will feature the progressively finer filters (sand filters) to trap unwanted biological particles and solids, activated carbon filters to trap organic chemicals and chlorination, water softeners, assorted pumps, valves, pipes, quality control analysis equipment, ozone and ultraviolet disinfection systems to decontaminate and to prevent microbiological contamination and
clean storage facilities.
